How to play it
A fun Water deck, made of common cards only, that bets everything on Prankster Whale: her critical hits and her Echo, which can recast her attack several times in a row. The three other cards heal her and raise the Water that powers her hits.
Prankster Whale deals 35 Water with Hydroluck, which has a one-in-two chance to come right back thanks to its Echo. Hahahahahaha adds 50% critical to her. Her Hardening talent raises her resistances by 15%. The Eye of the Mountains makes her critical hits more violent: Revitalization heals for 50 and adds 1 to the critical damage of the card it heals. It starts with Berserk and Waterheart.
Water Spirit and Murmurs of Black Coral are the engine. Aquatic Breath deals 10 and adds 1 Water point, Wave adds 1, and Water Spirit’s Water Heart talent adds 1 more per turn. Murmurs of Black Coral heals itself with Whisper, whose base healing grows by 3 with each cast, and its Multiplier doubles the effect of Water bonuses on its damage and healing. Its Shared Shield talent adds 10% resistance to all your cards.
For Tox, buy Berserk and Waterheart several times to raise their rarity, up to 100% damage and healing and 8 Water points per turn as legendaries. Reset, on Prankster Whale, gives Hydroluck back each time she kills a card. Reflection sends part of the damage taken back to the attacker, up to 100% as a legendary.
Late in the game, Prankster Whale really hurts: her critical chance has climbed, Water and Berserk have grown each of her hits, and every Echo recasts an attack that is already huge: when they chain, she can destroy any card. The downside: it all comes down to that Echo. When it does not land, the rest of the deck hits too little to make up for it, and the game is often lost.
