Tox to ban : Immunity
How to play it
A deck that goes for neither big damage nor element points: it wins at the shop. Everything in it is there to pile up Luck and Spamtons, find the legendary Tox before your opponent does, then keep them from playing. Three common cards and one rare are enough.
Wander Blades is the rare card, and the heart of the deck. It has no ability, but it earns 15 Spamtons per turn and starts with three Tox: Lucky, which adds 1 point of Luck every turn, Heart Resistance, which raises the resistances of all your cards by 6 on each of your turns, and Graveyard, which you can replace. With the Bargain talent, your first Tox purchase is refunded; you still need enough to pay for it.
Glimmer of Hope brings the second Lucky: with Wander Blades, 2 more points of Luck every turn. Breath heals for 20 in Nature and 20 in Light, and adds 15 resistance in an element picked at random. His Lucky Tox talent, which gives each rarity exactly a one-in-four chance, is debatable: it helps you land a rare Tox early, but works against you once your Luck is high.
Master Thronebéur does three things. Luminous Hammer adds 20% accuracy to all your cards with each use. Slowing applies Eternity to the enemy card of your choice. And his Fortune talent raises the Spamtons he earns by 2 every turn: 8, then 10, then 12, and so on.
Master Amphibian is the card that wins. Miasmas of Wisdom hits every enemy card each turn, in Earth and in Water, but at 50% accuracy: the hammer is played for him. His 13th month talent gives you 100 Spamtons the first time you have 200; so avoid spending before you have passed that mark.
The plan: let Luck and Spamtons build up, then reroll the shop until you find Eternity, which only exists as a legendary, and put it on Master Amphibian. Each hit that lands then adds a turn to the cooldowns of the card it hits, and he strikes everyone twice a turn: your opponent can hardly cast anything any more. The other way is Poison: as a legendary, it takes 8% of max HP every turn for three turns, from every enemy card at once. Temporality, which reduces cooldowns, lets him strike twice in the same turn.
Its weak spot is Immunity, which protects a card from all enemy effects: ban it from the shop. Traveler of the Ridges, who starts the game with it, is the deck’s worst opponent; against him, Weaver of Words can replace Glimmer of Hope to absorb him.
