How to play it
A deck that bets everything on a single card: Logidrake, the Ignatius, whom his three teammates make stronger turn after turn. It starts slowly and ends very strong, and only one of its four cards is epic.
Lucky-Fire strikes three times for 7 in Fire, with a one-in-two chance of a critical hit, which doubles the damage, and an Echo that has a one-in-two chance to cast the attack again at once, sometimes several times in a row. So whatever is added to his base damage counts three times. His Vampirism gives him back half the damage he deals.
Rob the Adventurer is the one who makes him grow. Adventure, cast on Logidrake every turn, adds 1 to his base damage, so 3 per attack, and 4% accuracy and critical chance. Accuracy matters as much as damage: Logidrake starts at 50%, and so misses one hit in two. Rob’s two starting Tox, Shadowheart and Earthheart, are of no use here: replace them as soon as you can, with a Fireheart for instance.
Yotaru, Leafguard protects and speeds things up. Every turn, Protect puts Taunt on one of your cards, picked at random. If it lands on Logidrake, break it with Boostguard: his base damage goes up by 3, which is 9 more per attack. Once he hits hard enough, prefer Earthguard, which gives him 100 max HP: if he dies, the game becomes very hard. When Taunt lands on another card, break it the same way to make that card tougher. The Shared Shield talent adds 10% resistance to all your cards.
Fire King takes the hits and supplies the Fire. With 1,000 HP he is the toughest card of the deck, and the Focus talent gives him a one-in-four chance each turn to take Taunt. His Punching Bag earns him 1 point of Fire each time he is attacked. Burning Choice adds a lot at once: 1 to 20, 5 to 15 or 8 to 12, as you choose. The deck makes little Fire otherwise: the steadiest choice is the safest.
As for Tox, look for Poison first, for Logidrake: it takes 1% of the target’s max HP at the start of each of its turns for three turns, 3% at rare, and each of his hits that lands applies it. Fireheart adds 1 point of Fire per turn, and Heart Resistance raises the resistances of all your cards by 3 at the start of each of your turns. Take out the enemy card that deals the most damage first: Rob and Yotaru only have 500 HP, and your first turns are the most fragile.
