How to play it
A take on the Black Widow deck that bets on protection: Yotaru, Leafguard draws the hits while Weaver of Words recharges her ability.
The plan stays the same. Black Widow absorbs a card, but takes eight turns to recharge. Neilla and Verdelune carry Temporality, which reduces cooldowns, and Neilla’s Reducer talent gives one to a random allied card on the first turn.
Yotaru, Leafguard is the bodyguard. Every turn, Protect puts Taunt on an allied card picked at random, which then draws the attacks. He can then break that Taunt: Earthguard grants 100 max HP, Boostguard raises base damage and healing by 3.
Neilla and Verdelune take the hits. Marine Protection heals for 80, adds 15 resistance to all elements and applies Taunt; Truce heals for 60 and adds 10 resistance. Verdelune also strikes four times with Multi-Foliage, on enemy cards picked at random.
As for talents, Shared Shield, on Yotaru, Leafguard, adds 10% resistance to all your cards, and Focus gives him a one-in-four chance to take Taunt himself each turn.
